Irène Larivière passed away at the Altona Hospital, with family by her side, on January 15, 2025, at the age of 104.
She is survived by her daughters, Evelyne (George) and Mariette (Steven); sisters, Thérèse and Yvette; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Irène was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Emelia (Carrière) Larivière; her brothers, Raymond, Arthur (Thérèse), Lionel (Edna), Louis, and Levis; sisters, Annette, Hélène (Albert Champagne), Yvonne, Corinne (Jos Dedieu), and Armande; and brothers-in-law, Amedée Sabourin and Art Schumacher.
A public viewing will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place prior to the celebration of life.
A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, January 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Jean Centennial Hall, 203 Caron Street, St. Jean Baptiste, Manitoba.
