Herlander Jesus Maria passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025. Predeceased by his daughter Angelica, and his parents Joao and Maria de Lurdes. Survived by his beloved wife Deolinda; children, Alex and Herb; grandchildren, Melissa (Cade), Michael and Jeffrey; sister, Maria Fernanda (Leopold); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., on January 28, at 11:00 a.m.

Dear Deolinda and family. I am so sorry, that Herlander has departed to eternity. I can't even believe it. Herlander was indeed a very nice person, it was my pleasure to look after his travel arrangements, for his trips to Portugal. I can't imagine the pain that you have in your heart caused by his passing. Almost every day I wondered how he was doing. Obviously God wanted him to rest after the awful illness. I know that human words will not help your pain, only God can help. You and your family will be in my prayers. May his soul rest in peace in eternity.
