It is with great sadness that we announce Raymond’s passing on January 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife Heather and son Robin. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Jason (Judy) and Curtis; his daughter Noella (John) McGuire; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his dear friend Bernice Drennan.
Raymond was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He also enjoyed a long and successful career at the Manitoba Telephone System, and while he enjoyed his retirement - he often said he also enjoyed each and every day of work.
A long-time member and Past President of Pine Ridge Golf Club, he enjoyed the company of his fellow members and treasured his many winter golf vacations with close friends. Raymond also had four holes-in-one throughout his illustrious golfing days.
Raymond was famous for his pizza and pasta dinners often shared with his family. He also was a great story and joke teller, which will be missed.
In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held.
