Softly in the early morning - she heard a gentle call - God offered her his hand - and quietly left us all.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Melvin (Susie); five grandchildren, Rose (Rod), Melanie (Ted), Christine (Ross), Arlene (Trevor), Bob (Carolyn); 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sadie Petkau and Mary Brennan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Abe, daughter Donna, three brothers and three sisters.
Special Thank You to all the staff for the wonderful care at Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB (May 7, 2014 to August 18, 2023), Bethania Care Home, Winnipeg, MB (August 18, 2023 to January 25, 2025).
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere, Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
