Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My sincere condolences to Johnny’s entire extended family, especially to Jim, Gordon, Grace and Valerie on the loss of your brother Johnny. I remember that there was originally 9 children in your family. We were 7 altogether. Only Mary, Irene, Anne and I are left. Good memories of our school years. May your good memories of each other comfort you during this sad time. With respect, Katherine Krawchuk-Fecio - Posted by: Kathy Krawchuk Fecio (Neighbours from childhood) on: Feb 01, 2025

  • I only knew stories. His laugh and smile and sometimes his firm handshake. I’ve never known another man in my life who was as hardworking and contained true grit. Dad would always call every Sunday as I would make the occasional appearance laughing at some of his stories and smile saying his casual hello to me. I always knew him as stubborn or harsh from the stories my father told me. However truly deep down my dad became the man who raised me because of him. I was shown kindness and love that I will always cherish and make sure I never waste the lessons he passed onto me making me into the man I am today. If I could say one thing to Grandpa John before he passed I would ask him more about my grandmother who I never knew. I wish life would allow me to continue the conversation however still have two brothers I can always look to for more stories and guidance. I know grandpa John would want that. You will have a true peace and rest. I’m happy you’re with Grandma say hello for me. - Posted by: Logan (Grandson) on: Feb 01, 2025

  • Johnny was a very quiet and gentle man. Worked hard on the farm all by himself as his children grew up and moved away. He took such good care of his wife Jeannie for as long as he could. Rest in Peace Johnny, may the Good Lord take you on another journey in your life. My thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻 go out to your children and grandchildren. Gods Blessings!! - Posted by: Sandy (Pleskacz) Sawchuk (Neighbor) on: Feb 01, 2025
