Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARRYL RAYMOND BARANOWSKI
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darryl Baranowski on February 12, 2025, at the age of 61. His passing came less than two months after losing the love of his life, Vicky, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond.
Darryl is deeply mourned by his stepdaughter, Veronica (Bradly); his mother, Margaret, and his sisters, Angie and Michele (Jerrold). He was predeceased by his cherished Vicky and his father, Raymond. He also leaves behind many close friends who will forever treasure the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
A man of many talents and passions, Darryl was a gifted musician who loved playing in a band, sharing his music with all who listened. He was also an avid hockey player, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast, finding peace and happiness in nature’s embrace.
As per his wishes, no formal funeral will be held. Instead, a private celebration of life will take place to honor his memory and the impact he had on those around him.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his loved ones. May he rest peacefully, reunited with Vicky, the love of his life.

My condolences to the Baranowski family. Darryl & I were hockey teammates in 1980 with the North Winnipeg Sun's 16 year old team. I believe I was the only rookie on the squad and at times, felt like an outsider in that hockey dressing room scenario. Although it was "only 45 years ago" , I have never forgotten Darryl's kindness to this raw rookie. He could certainly skate like the wind!
