Jean-Louis Sabourin, passed away on February 16, 2025, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, due to complications from COPD.
He is survived by his mother Jacqueline (Barnabe) Sabourin and the late father Ulric Sabourin, and stepdad Rick Tycholis, sister Natalie (Thom Edwards), Jeremy (Anna Barlow), and Justin (Danica Marcon-Lajeunesse), and his nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Club Chez Nous (joined to St Jean Hall) in St Jean-Baptiste, Manitoba. A private interment will take place at a future date at St Jean-Baptiste Cemetery.
We wish to thank the PACT Access West, in particular Baden and Kim, the doctors and nurses at Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. Thank you also to his neighbours who showed him many kindnesses.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a mental health association of your choice.
