  • You won’t know me but I read in the paper that Bill Potter had passed away and I wish to send you and your family my deepest sympathy on your loss. You won’t know me but my name is Yvette Cancade, nee Gauthier, and Tony Kenler was my uncle on my mother’s side, Marie Gauthier’s nee Kenler, was an older sister to Uncle Tony. I still vividly remember him coming to visit my parents when we lived in Antler, Sk. just after the war ended in 1945. We sat on lawn chairs enjoying the sun and I remember being so excited to see him looking so tall and elegant in his uniform! Tell Susan I can also remember seeing her as a very cute little girl. I am now widowed and have lived in Brandon for many years, had 5 daughters and now have my own large family. Once again I send you my deepest sympathy on your loss. - Posted by: Yvette Cancade (cousin) on: Mar 02, 2025

  • Bill was such a character at times. Very knowledgeable person. We listened to his many knowledgeable stories. Smitty's was our meeting place. My thoughts to Carol and family. - Posted by: Wendy Restoule (Friend) on: Mar 01, 2025
