I first met Scott in January, 1997, at a weekend screenwriters intensive at the Winnipeg Film Group, moderated by Prof. George Toles. We became fast friends. He began a relationship with a wonderful lady named Lynn Chwartacki and we became friends as well. Scott (or "Dr. Prior", as I usually called him) was a warm, inviting person who was always curious about the world and who continued to work on his craft as a writer. He never stopped learning and he never stopped caring. I am the better for having known Scott and Lynn. - Posted by: Jeremy Bowkett (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2025
