Eve died peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, where she received compassionate care from amazing healthcare angels. Thank you so very much. Eve now joins the company and bonds of many in heaven where there is no more suffering, only joy and loving community. Please remember her with love, friendship, recognition, and respect.
May this beloved child of God rest in peace and rise in glory. Amen.

Eve was devoted to wildlife. She was, in her own words, a "supporter of Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project, foster mum to 7 orphan baby elephants & a blind rhino". I knew Eve through her interest in the peregrines, though when we chatted, we'd inevitably get sidetracked, and end up talking about orphaned elephants and more recently, hedgehogs. The wildlife causes (near and far) that she believed in, have lost a quiet champion. Thank you Eve - for the chats and for being one of the Peregrine Project's Phanatics.
