LINDA FAYE WIEBE
It's with great sadness that we share the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Linda Faye Wiebe (Derksen). She passed away peacefully in Winnipeg on March 6, 2025, at the age of 75. Linda was born on March 8, 1949, in Winnipeg.
Linda was a devoted wife to her husband Henry, a loving mother to her children, Jason (Tara) and Cynthia, and best of all, a grandmother to Freya and bonus grandchildren, Cross and Sailor. Her family and friends were the centre of her world, and she loved nothing more than to nurture and care for them. She was always there to lend a helping hand or provide comfort to those in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of everyone she met, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
In addition to her role as a dedicated homemaker, Linda played an important part in Henry's accounting business. She also had a passion for gardening and found joy in cooking, baking and canning. She had many friends and loved to go out and spend as much time as she could with them. She is survived by her loving husband, kids and grandkids, siblings, nieces and nephews, friends, and an aunt who was her second mom. She was predeceased by her parents, Jake and Olga Derksen, and brother, Daniel.
Linda was faithful to God who brought her comfort and strength throughout her life. Her faith carried her through the various health struggles these last few years, and she found solace in knowing where she was going. Today she can walk and breathe with ease, and her soul is at peace in the arms of her Creator. While her passing has left a massive void in our lives, her suffering is over and, for that, we are grateful. Linda, Mom, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts and all those who were blessed to know you. Rest in peace knowing that your love and light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of everyone you touched. We love you so much.
A funeral service to honour Linda's life will be held at Friends Funeral Service on Thursday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation in Linda's memory.

I have known Linda for many years though we lived in BC and Alberta. I always enjoyed seeing her when we visited Winnipeg, having coffee or a fabulous dinner at their place. She was an incredible cook and hostess. In spite of her many health issues she lived a full life, brought love and friendship to many. May God grant her eternal rest and to Henry, her children and grandchildren loving memories that they will always treasure. - Posted by: Katherine and Bill miske (Friends) on: Mar 11, 2025
