Now and Forever flies free - With heavy hearts we share that our Penny, at age 59, has passed away unexpectedly at her home in Winnipeg on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Born in Winnipeg to her parents George and Karen Nagadzina, Penny was raised by her Aunt and Uncle Dorothy and Don Nagadzina. She grew up with her cousins who were more like siblings, Donna and Sheldon. Penny attended school in Morden, MB.
Penny was professionally dedicated to Royal Bank of Canada where she spent 34 years, and her clients and coworkers loved her.
Penny loved to travel and over the years she found herself in Cayman Islands, New York, Arizona and Vegas to name a few. She was always up for farmers markets, craft shows, concerts, art shows and usually had multiple knitting or crochet projects on the go. Many summers were spent with family and friends at Winnipeg Beach.
Penny will be remembered for her quick wit, helpful nature, kind spirit, and the most beautiful sparkly eyes. Predeceased by her parents, George and Karen Nagadzina and her Aunt and Uncle Dorothy and Don Nagadzina. Sorely missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her.
Service and interment to follow at a later date.

I was saddened to hear of Penny’s passing. Penny was my sister-in-law in another season of her life. We were very close for good times and times when life was harsh. She lived with my family and I on a couple of occasions for several months. We spent many a night enjoying a glass of wine and having some meaningful conversations. While reading her story, I can see that she had a long and successful career, and good friendships. Life on this side of eternity is but the blink of an eye. I’ll see you soon Penny. Penny was a wonderful lady that greeted you with so much enthusiasm, happiness and respect. She would always greet us in my Ojibway language and thank us in the same way. I found that so honourable and respectful. Prayers and condolences to the Frank Wade team and her family. EJ Fontaine and wife Eva - Posted by: EJ & Eva (Clients) on: Mar 24, 2025
