ANNE BYSPALKO

October 11, 1933 – March 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne Byspalko (Rieu, Pasieka), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at Riverview Health Centre.

Anne was predeceased by her first late husband John Wilfred Rieu (1969) and 2nd late husband Mike Byspalko (1993); Parents: Peter and Paraska (Pearl); Brothers: Mike (Jean), Bill, Joe, and John, her eldest son: Kirk and daughter-in-law Cathy.

Left to Cherish Anne's memory are her sons: Walter (Glenda), and John (Tanice); 5 Grandchildren: Trisha (Shawn), Derek (Rylee), Lisa (Alonza), Kim (Ti), and Katie (Brennan); and her 6 Great-Grandchildren: Cayleb, Kaiys, Nyah, Ethan, Jase, and Thomas (Taz), Sister-in-Laws, Helen Pasieka & Cathy Pasieka, Janet & Bob Archer as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was also deeply loved by her lifelong friend of 85 years, Elsie Karish.

Anne’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the incredible staff at Donwood Manor, where Anne has been a resident for the last 25 years. Your unwavering care, kindness and support provided her with comfort and dignity, and we are forever grateful for the love you showed her.

As per Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
