JUNE EVELYN LEATHWOOD

June 28, 1934 - April 9, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, June Evelyn (nee Christie) Leathwood, of Winnipeg, Manitoba. June left this earth peacefully, surrounded by family. Her loved ones will carry the precious gift of her memory, and the remembrance of all her support and love.

As per June's wishes, no formal service will be held. A private family interment will follow.

  • Auntie June was really lovely woman. When I was a kid she always had an infectious smile. In the last couple of years of my son Mathieu's life we would occasionally run into her at Polo Park.   • I knew June from Donwood West. She was always happy, cheerful, and friendly. That person you wanted as a friend. We shared many afternoons, enjoying the company of other residents and, of course, with a glass of wine or two. She was missed when her health forced her to leave Donwood West.
