Lillian passed away on May 6, 2025 at 87 years.
Lil is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Joe; children, Charlene (Gerry), Bruce, Jason (Angela); grandchildren, Ryan, Katelyn, Bria; brother Andy; and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, Veronica and Sam, sister Olga, and granddaughter Danielle.
Lil was a passionate artist. She studied art at the University of Manitoba and later worked at the Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature as an art illustrator. She adorned the family home with her paintings and passed on her love for art to her daughter. Lil loved gardening, flowers, and playing bingo or cards. But nothing was more important to her than her family and grandchildren.
We thank Dr. Coates for his compassionate care.
A private family memorial will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
