Bonnie Jean Willis, born February 1, 1948, passed away at her farm south of Austin Manitoba on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
Bonnie is survived by special friend Errol Bredin, son Darwin (Tammy) and daughter Jody (Mark), grandchildren, Carter (Tiah), Parker, Colton and Alyssa and by sisters, Maureen (Jim) Malcolm and Heather (Gary) Kowalski. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Willis, parents Ellen and Henry Rothwell, and brother Wayne (Diane) Rothwell.
A Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Austin Community Hall with Sharon Hamilton officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Austin Fire Department or to Sprucedale Industries Inc., Austin, MB.

My deepest condolences to the family and Errol. Bonnie was a special person who gave so much. She worked hard, with the help of Errol, caring for her late husband making sure he had the best quality of life possible after such a devastating accident. She loved her family very much. I am so sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. We were in the same group during our nurses training years. She was so kind and gentle and fun to be with. She will be missed.
