Date of Passing: Apr 14, 2025
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKERRY MICHAEL PHELPS
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry Phelps on April 14, 2025 at the age of 70.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lin, of 49 years; his children, Angie (Corey), Michael (Jayme); his cherished grandgirls, Lily and Violet and his cat, Cali.
Kerry worked for 40 years as a technician at Pitney Bowes, making many lifelong friends along the way. He enjoyed coaching Angie's softball team, as well as watching Michael play hockey and race motocross. Kerry loved traveling to California with Lin and driving the Mustang. He was a very easy going guy that adored his family, golfing at Arnes, enjoyed choosing plants and flowers each summer for the cottage, ice fishing and in his younger years motorcycle racing.
Kerry was a "hands on" type of man. He enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles, cars and anything that he could take apart and put back together. He took pride in the finishing touches of projects at home and the cottage. His willingness to help family and friends will be greatly missed.
We would like to thank all the 3rd floor staff at Concordia Place for their care and compassion.
Kerry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A private family gathering will be held, as per his wishes.

My condolences to Lin and family. I have fond memories with Kerry taking our boys to hockey games in Transcona and hockey tournaments in eastern and western Canada when our boys got older. We spent our summers racing motocross in Manitoba. Kerry was always there for his family and friends. May you rest in peace. - Posted by: Greg nicol (Hockey and moto cross parent) on: May 28, 2025

Kathy & my thoughts are with you Lin and family. Simple put, Kerry was an all round nice guy. As long as I’ve known Kerry I never heard a negative thought come from him. Life was good and he lived that way. I’m thankful to be a cousin and have shared memories with him. - Posted by: Ron Phelps (Cousin) on: May 27, 2025

We will always miss and remember Kerry. I think back to all the golf games we had and many events through work at Pitney Bowes he was always a lot of fun. Kerry was great to work with at Pitney Bowes he always reached out to land a hand if he needed. he knew this stuff really well. Often we would go to the Norwood with the gang after work and have a few bubbles. I used to ride with Kerry and his friend don we hung around Transcona in the '70s on our dirt bikes. We would go out for hours and hours down the floodway and Birds Hill gravel quarries. Yes lots of good memories. Thinking of you Lynn and the family only time heals such wounds. - Posted by: rob Johnson (friend) on: May 24, 2025

Kerry was calm and cool, and always positive. I remember having lunch with him and his mother one day and he was explaining how it felt to be a grandpa. He said he couldn't believe how much fun it was and how he and Lin felt so much love for them. I don't remember hearing so much passion from him on other topics. He was indeed a great guy and will be deeply missed. - Posted by: Bev Hindle (cousin) on: May 24, 2025
