• I am not sure how Mary and I became friends as she was a year older than I was. However, it happened. She was a wonderful and kind person. I remember that she had two children, and that at least one of them had the same space between their front teeth as their father did. Mary and I laughed about that and said there would be no question about paternity there. We did lose touch as one does, but I send my deepest condolences to Scott and the family at this sad time. • I am so saddened to hear the news of Mary’s passing. I had the privilege of sharing the support role with Mary at Kent Road School and appreciated her expertise, warmth and humour.Our paths crossed in the 1960’s as well when we were both taught baton twirling under the guidance of Joyce Ormshaw and although from Ft. Garry, she was briefly a Northwood Strutter. My sincerest condolences are extended to Scott, children, grandchildren and extended family. • I am so sorry to hear of Mary‘s passing. Mary and I were best friends growing up and I have so many memories from that time. Going to the lake with her, raking leaf houses in the yard, watching the first coloured TV at her house are just some memories I will always cherish. She was my maid of honour when I got married. Our kids played together on our visits when they were little. Unfortunately, we drifted apart as our lives got busier. My heart breaks and my thoughts are with all of you.
