GLEN GEORGE REMILLARD

1939 - 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father George Remillard on May 26, 2025, at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief and brave fight with cancer.

George was a banker for 40 years but was happiest at his cottage and in nature. George was known as a straight shooter and a man of many talents. He was most passionate about gardening, XC skiing, wine and movies. He always found purpose in helping others and being president of his condo board.

George was a loyal friend who will live in the hearts of those who loved him. Above all, he was a loving father, where his daughters Danielle and Nicole brought him great joy.

We would also like to thank the compassionate and dedicated staff on ward A7S at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care.

A private family celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Siloam Mission or St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care.

  • I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a very lovely person and was always very accepting of me always. Wish I got to spend more time with him. Always loved the conversations we had when we got to get together. Hope he gets the answers on the other side and can be with all his siblings. Rest in peace Uncle George. Love you. ❤️ - Posted by: Sharon Fergusson (Step niece) on: Jul 11, 2025
