We are saddened to announce Cheryl’s passing. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, along with her love of swimming, bowling, colouring, dancing and hanging out with family.
Dad’s angel is survived by her brothers Barry (Pat), Bob (Maureen) and Mike, along with nephews and nieces Dave, Corey, Kyle (Nicole), Harrison and Kathleen, grandniece Mackenna and grandnephew Linden. Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Mary and Ernie.
Special thanks to the staff of Holy Family Home where Cheryl last resided, and to the staff of WASO (Work and Social Opportunities) where Cheryl spent many years enjoying their programs and activities.
Following cremation there will be no service.
The family would appreciate donations in Cheryl’s memory to be made to WASO, 840 McLeod Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R2G 2T7.

I had the opportunity to meet Cheryl at her family home many years ago. As a part of the Lessard clan there were many stories of the connections between the Gros family and the Lessard family. My late wife Monique always had a special place in her heart for Cheryl and credited her for helping her to find her chosen career with the St. Amant Community Residences.
