CAROL (ELAINE) MACK


Elaine Mack, aged 81, of Victoria BC passed away on June 3, 2025. Elaine was born, the oldest of three children to Thomas and Freda Manns, August 10, 1943 in Firdale, Manitoba.

After attending college in Winnipeg, she met Lloyd Mack and they were married in 1963 and then moved to Victoria, BC. She worked at the Liquor Control Board from 1963-1967 after which time she dedicated herself to raising their family.



Elaine was predeceased by Lloyd, her husband of 59 years, and is survived by her children Aleda (Nick) Richards, Teresa Mack, Warren (Georgia) Mack and Karla (Gowan) Armstrong and granddaughters, Breanna Richards, Shayna Richards, Kailen Armstrong (Brandon Moore), Kara Richards (Kieran Wilde), Makenna Armstrong, Anika Armstrong, Katelyn Mack and Ashley Mack. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Roy (Sandra) Manns, brother-in-law Noel (predeceased Lynn) Johnson, uncle Allan Nohlgren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Elaine enjoyed camping and working on projects with Lloyd as well as spending time with family, especially being involved with her eight granddaughters. She was also an avid sewer, finding all kinds of new creations to make.

An open house reception for Elaine will be held in Victoria on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Please contact Karla Armstrong for details at 250-329-8128 or gkarmstrong5@gmail.com. A funeral service in Carberry, Manitoba will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps of Canada or the Royal Canadian Legion #91 (Poppy Fund).
