With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alistair Evan Gibb on June 5, 2025, at age 73.
Beloved husband of Debbie, father to Ewan, Letitia (Mark), Gemma, and Kirsty (Bruno), and Papa to Makenna, Arthur, Jacob, and George. He will be forever missed.
Born in Rugby, England, Alistair earned a degree in Geology and Chemistry and immigrated to Canada in 1972. He worked for over 40 years as a chemist and engineer in both the UK and Canada.
In later life, he faced Parkinson’s with quiet strength, never losing his wit, warmth, or love for family.
A celebration of life will be held at Desjardin Funeral Home on September 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Parkinson Canada.
