KARL WITTIN
It is with deep sadness for our family to announce the passing of Karl Wittin on Wednesday, June 11, following an unexpected health issue at the age of 56.
Karl will be forever remembered by his mother Shirley, siblings, Kimberly and Kurt, nephew and nieces, Erik, Vanessa, and Mackenzie, as well as many dear friends and close relatives. Karl was predeceased by his father Frank in 2016.
Karl lived his entire life in Manitoba, enjoying the great outdoors, the local music scene and sharing his road trips with his German Shepherd, Sasha. All of those he loved, know Karl had a natural charisma that followed him wherever he went. This world was brighter for so many Karl because you were in it!
A funeral service at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave. will take place Thursday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Karl’s memory may be made to D’Arcy’s A.R.C., 730B Century St., Winnipeg, MB R3H 0M1, 204-888-2266 or info@darcysarc.ca

I am still shocked by Karl's passing. I keep waiting for a text or a message inviting me over for a BBQ, a ride in the awesome Camaro, or just a visit to chat about life. You were a unique character Karl, and I miss you. Far too soon for you to be gone. - Posted by: Robyn Maharaj (Friend) on: Jul 03, 2025

A brother to be sure. I have known Karl for almost 5 decades. Since 1975 to be exact. We grew up together and continued our friendship thru many vacations. We didn’t always like each other but we always loved each other. Cheers to you Karl. A life well lived. - Posted by: Glen Meikle (Non related brother) on: Jun 21, 2025
