WAYLON JOSEPH BIRD
It is with heavy hearts and disbelief that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Waylon Joseph Bird of Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Russell and Darlene Daniels, his siblings, Dennis (Cheryl), Russell Jr., Sheila (Donavan), Tyler, and Keesis, numerous aunts and uncles, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Waylon is reunited with his brother Curt, his grandparents, Joe and Virginia Bird, and Leo and Martha Daniels.
Wake Services will start on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his residence, House 1674, North Shore Rd., Sagkeeng First Nation. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Church with Revs. Richard and Nancy Bruyere officiating. Carrying him to his final resting place will be his brother Denny, nephew DJ, cousins, Donny Bird, Jordan Bird, Loren Bird, Sonny Bird, Victor Bird, and Kevin Montour.
