Elinor Isabel Sklar - lovingly known to so many as 'Granny' - passed away on June 29, 2020. She is deeply missed every single day by her husband of 62 years, Dave; her three children Colleen, David and Jim; her six amazing granddaughters - Ammanda, Breanna, Nettie, Hanna, Grace, and Katrina; her newest great-granddaughter, baby Penny; and her big circle of extended family and lifelong friends.
Granny was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved. Whether it was a quiet moment or a big family gathering, she lit up when she was with her people. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, special, and loved - no matter how old you were, she was 'Granny' to all.
She celebrated every achievement large and small and always appreciated the little things. She reminded us to take care of each other and the world around us, and always told us to leave things better than we found them.
Every summer, we feel her with us - in the laughter, the sunshine, and in the breeze off the water. Her love and spirit are still here; in the people she touched and the memories we share.
"Lots of Love" Granny, we miss you so much.
