On Saturday June 28, 2025, a few days short of turning 101, the good Lord called our mom home.
She was pre-deceased by her two sons, Bill (Jan) and Ken (Gloria).
She is survived by her four daughters. Janet Carluck, Dorothy Billyard (Ken), Allison Mackenzie, Collette Gervais (Paul).
She was blessed with nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mom was a very outgoing, friendly person and always was the life of the party.
She loved to get together with her siblings for a pot luck dinner, and card playing. Mom loved to gamble and enjoyed many bus trips to the casino with her sisters.
She loved all sports and was on a bowling league for many years. Later in life at sixty she took up golf. She loved it, but always said she wasn’t very good.
She was a devoted Catholic and had a strong faith in God.
In accordance with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on
Tuesday July 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary’s Road.
A private family interment will follow at a later time.
