(née KOSTISHYN)

Patricia Chartier (née Kostishyn) had returned home to the Lord’s embrace on June 23, 2025. She joins her Guardian Angels (parents, Peter and Anella) in Heaven.

Mourning her with heavy hearts laden in sorrow are her beloved husband of 32 years, Bernard; her cherished daughter, Chantelle; as well as numerous family members and friends.

Patricia had left us far too soon and unexpectedly at 66 years young. Her unwavering inner strength, humility, wisdom, and capacity to love touched the hearts of all she had encountered. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, empathy, caring, and advocacy - amplified by warm smiles and tender hugs - endures and will forever remain in our hearts and memories. Patricia was a beacon and pillar of strength, safety, and tranquility for her family. As in life, her spirit will continue to guide, protect, and watch over us.

Patricia’s life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of St. Timothy (located at 135 John Forsyth Road in Winnipeg) with Fr. Peter Tran officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Penner and Dr. Sharma at the Victoria General Hospital for their dedicated care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s name to the Canadian Red Cross.
