PHILIP DONALD SWAIN

(JAKE)

In Loving Memory of Philip Donald Swain, December 26 1951 - April 26, 2025. With fond memories of a well lived life the family of Don wish to announce his peaceful passing at the age of 73 after his journey with cancer in Kelowna BC.

Don was born in Manigotagan, received his education and started his career and family in Winnipeg but with his love and dedication to his profession he traveled all over the road. Don knew the importance of continuous learning, keeping current certification, and was passionate about safety on the jobsite. Don will be remembered for his joyful spirit, endless wisdom, passion for music, quick wit and infectious laughter. He was the man to go to for advice, always willing to share his knowledge Don was the life of the party. The most incredible Pops, Grandpa, Brother, Son, Uncle and Friend to many.

Don is survived by his loving children Kevin, Paula, and granddaughter Nova. Also survived by mother Bridget and siblings, Paulette, Edna (Len), Wendi, Jack (Susannah), Susan, Nadine (Doug), Gary (Tania) predeceased by father Paul and siblings Harvey and Tammy.

Celebration of Life to be held in Manigotagan Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Bridget's Place. All are welcome to come and honour his memory with music, stories, laughter and love. Lunch will be served.
