Left to miss him dearly is Tammy Big Eagle, their children, Jessica, Jenna and Jaxon Big Eagle, stepson Julian, Brittany and Branden Kuzick (mother Miaco Kuzick), Dylan (mother Kim Sarota); also a few grandchildren, his loving mother, Evelyn (nee Lagace) Grouette, his brother Patrick Grouette (children, Taylor, Emma and Carter Grouette), and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his dad Raymond Grouette (2019).
Norbert was born and raised in Winnipeg and had resided in Kelowna for the past 23 years. He was a painter and loved hunting and fishing. He was also known as a very friendly guy.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Transcona Legion, 117 Regent Avenue East on July 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
