KATHY ST GERMAIN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy, a loving sister, aunt, and friend. Kathy passed away at the age of 74, peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital in Vancouver. She battled cancer for the past couple of years, and after a courageous fight, she left this world in peace.
Kathy is survived by her two brothers, Dennis and Gavin, and her sister, Linda; nieces Carly, Jennifer, Leslie, and Jacqueline; nephews Shane and Paul and Great nieces and nephews who mourn her loss. She grew up in Fort Garry in Winnipeg with all nine of her siblings and moved to Vancouver in 1979.
Kathy held many jobs and had some memorable moments working for the Vancouver Olympics and the Pacific Coliseum. She was predeceased by her parents, Louise and Arthur; her brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Larry, Lenard, and Melvin; and her sister, Lorraine.
Kathy loved talking with her friends and meeting up with them. She adored her dog, Bailey, and was heartbroken when he passed away. Kathy loved to travel, meet new people, and try new things. She will be dearly missed by everyone. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lions Gate Hospital for their care and support during her final days.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kathy loved animals, and donations in her memory are welcome to the Humane Society or Cancer Care.
May she rest in peace.
