I was shocked to hear about Dean. He was a great friend to many growing up and especially me. Through school years at Byng and Vincent Massey, years of hockey, motorbiking, snowmobiling and just hanging out with Dean was so much fun and memorable. I am sure he will be dearly missed by so many. My sincere Condolences to all of Dean's family. - Posted by: Pat Roth (Friend) on: Aug 08, 2025

This terrible news certainly caught us off guard. Dean was always such a “full of life” kinda guy. To Aunt Audrey, Shannon and Ross - please know that my memories of Dean were always good ones. I can still remember older Cousin Dean taking me for a ride in his Trans Am through the streets of Winnipeg, as a younger rural kid from Ontario. This was “BIG”! As we got older, the cousin thing drifted off and we went our separate ways, but Dean Hughes was always part of who made me. Love Todd, Christine and family. - Posted by: Todd Hughes (Cousin) on: Jul 26, 2025
