In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness we announce that Albert Murray (Bert) Glow passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the Bethany in Calgary, Alberta.
Bert was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in Stonewall, Manitoba. He worked for Miller Hatchery and Brett-Young Seeds in Winnipeg. He moved to Calgary in 1975 and worked for Western Smallwares and Associated Grocers.
He is survived by his sister Edith Pomerance, his nephews Allan Pomerance and Aubrey (Ulrika) Pomerance, his niece Cheryl Pomerance and many cousins.
He will be deeply missed by his extended family; Wendy Perreault-Stepaniuk and Bill Stepaniuk, Grandson Michael Stepaniuk; Val Guy; Laura Perreault and Joe Regner.
Bert was a member of the Beth Tzedec Synagogue. On March 28, 2008, the Beth Tzedec Congregation honored Bert for the great amount of work he did for the synagogue. He received a plaque which is mounted on the Yasher Koach award board at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue.
Services will take place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chesed Shel Emes, 1023 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Graveside Service to follow at B’nay Abraham Cemetery, 4639 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba.
