It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Susan Marion Glassco, who left us peacefully on July 28, 2025, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 79.
Born in Brandon, Manitoba on February 16, 1946, Susan was the oldest of two children of William G. and Margaret M. Glassco. Growing up in Winnipeg where she spent most of her life, Susan was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and a warm, steady presence. She touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, humour, and unwavering love. Her gentle spirit, thoughtful nature, and open heart made her someone people could always turn to for comfort, wisdom, and support.
Susan is lovingly remembered by her son, Paul; her daughter, Angelina; her brother, John, and his wife Sharon; and her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlynn, and Mari. She will also be missed by extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Donations in Susan’s memory can be made to Calvary Place Care Home. Anyone wishing to contact the family may do so through Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel at (204) 897-4665.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the main floor chapel at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin Street, Winnipeg, MB.

I met Susan when we were young teens at Victoria Beach. She was always so bright and energetic and full of fun and laughter. Susan introduced me to The Beatles!! I recall sitting in her bedroom on Elm Street listening to their first album. Sadly we lost touch after our respective marriages and only connected periodically when our children were young. She was a light and a lovely person. Rest in peace Susan. - Posted by: Jane Stuart (nee Nosworthy) (childhood friend) on: Sep 06, 2025
