My sincere condolences to the family, I did not know Beth, but I have known and appreciated Beth Hiscox's work for many years and I am sorry to hear of her passing. The landscapes she painted brought beauty, joy light and colour into the world, with a sense of place... and these works continue to delight and inspire. We are so fortunate to have many original paintings in the Government of Manitoba Art Collection by Beth - enjoyed by so much of Manitoba's public today. sincere condolences Amy Karlinsky, Curator - Posted by: Amy Karlinsky and Bryan Magnusson (Curator of a public art collection) on: Dec 04, 2025

"Aunt Beth", as I knew her decades ago, was one of the kindest, most loving human beings I have ever met. She loved me at a time in my life when I was extremely unlovable and gave me a sense of self-worth when it was desperately needed. Her smile and voice will never leave my memory, and she has been a role model for me throughout the years. - Posted by: Davvy Dembinsky Eyolfson (Friend) on: Sep 24, 2025

Beth was a good and friendly neighbour when her studio was in the Bate Building and I always admired her ambitious discipline. - Posted by: Doug Melnyk (Friend) on: Sep 24, 2025

We were fortunate to have Beth as a dear friend and neighbour. Our kitchen windows faced each other and there was always a wave 👋 and smile. She shared her dogs and they often wandered over for treats and petting. Beth and I doodled together and visits were artistic delights for me. She taught me so much and these memories - Posted by: Carol and Bill Beitzel (Friends) on: Sep 24, 2025
