RICK LEE
Mr. Rick Lee of Pierson, beloved husband, dad and grandpa, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes at the family farm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; daughters: Jana (Les, and their children Damian, Haleigh and Kaeden), Lyndsey (Gary), Meagan (Brent and their sons Liam and Keaton) and Kyla (Micheal and their daughters Adelaide, Aavril and Aniston); brother, Bob (Jill); sister, Candie (Greg); sisters-in-law: Brenda (Brian) Campbell, Sherryl Judd, Melanie Daffurn, Brenda Judd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends throughout the community, including cousin and friend, Roger Lee.
Rick was raised at NW 12-3-29 where he began his love of farming. He went to school in Pierson during which he participated in 4H Beef and played various sports but excelled in minor hockey.
In 1976 he married Gloria and they started their life together at SE 10-3-29 which included the arrival of their four daughters.
Rick was a calm and quiet man who put his family first and loved each addition as they arrived. He loved farming, walking, music, podcasts and golf. He was patient and gentle with his grandkids and always willing to spend time with them attending sports or playing games in the backyard.
In addition to the full time job of cattle and grain farming, Rick continued to play hockey, refereed, coached and served on various community boards.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Toots Lee; in-laws, Bert and Margaret Judd; brother-in-law, Ron Judd.
The funeral service for Rick will be held at the Pierson Community Hall, Pierson, MB. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Pierson Cemetery.
