With full hearts and sadness, we announce the passing of Georgina Gullett, who left us peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the age of 95 years. She was a wonderful mother, loving grandmother, an extra special great-grandma, and a true friend to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Georgina was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Bill Gullett, parents, Ed and Mae Scott, her sisters Ruby (Les Armstrong), Reta (Keith Kellett), Edna (Glen Mossing), and Laverne (Scotty Dryden), her sister-in-law Eva Eastley (Orville Martin/Bill Eastley) and other extended family members.

Georgina is survived by her children Teresa Powell (Perry), Wayne Gullett (Valerie), and Ron Gullett (Amy), as well as seven Grandchildren Katie Missinne (Brad), Lindsey Gullett (LeeAnne), Adam Powell (Rozane), Vanessa Powell (Nick Wong), Victoria Gullett, Alexis Gullett, and Halle Gullett (Maddox Juntunen), and five great-grandchildren, Logan and Ledger Gullett, Kinley, Remy, and Bridger Missinne, to whom she was known fondly as “Grandma George,” and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.

A Celebration of Georgina’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Wawanesa United Church with Shirley McBurney officiating along with Anglican Ministers from Holy Trinity in Killarney. A private family interment will take place in the Wawanesa Cemetery. Following the service, a reception will be held in the Wawanesa Community Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that donations be made to at the Wawanesa Personal Care Home, (Activity Department), c/o Box 309, Wawanesa, MB, or to the Wawanesa Community Foundation, Box 89, Wawanesa, MB, R0K 2G0.
