With great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Adeline Starodub (nee Dupuis) on November 1, 2025.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Catholic Church, 269 Jemima Street, Selkirk, MB with Fr. Gerald Langevin officiating. Private interment to follow in the East Selkirk Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Siloam Mission.

I have many special childhood memories from the Starodub home. I was always made to feel so welcome, and there were always delicious treats available that Mrs. Starodub had baked. I remember trying meringues for the first time - it seemed they were a regular staple (at least in my memory)! I also remember the Elvis movie tradition where everyone would guess how many songs would be sung, and I recall how the family Christmas tree was put up right at Christmas and not too much in advance.
