Peacefully on November 3, 2025, Marie passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her daughters Kara (Ward), and Cristal (Mike); her grandchildren Lyneah, Rylie, and Quinn; her sisters Toni (Ron), and Linda (Terry); along with nieces, nephews, many friends, and friends that became family. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy and her father Anton.

During her retirement, she was fortunate to travel to many places: Europe, Alaska, Cuba, and two cruises. She enjoyed many road trips throughout Canada and the USA. Every trip was filled with lots of pictures taken, laughs, and great memories.
Yearly glamping with Cristal and kids, as well as a trip to Ottawa to check out the University with Kara and Lyneah. Her last bucket list trip was to the East Coast this September with friends.
Marie will be greatly remembered for her strength, kindness, and caring ways.
