It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Wilma, who left us on November 1, 2025, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of her children.
Wilma was predeceased by her husband, “Al” Dawson Allen Christie in 2017. Wilma is survived by her children, Ken (Kim), Coleen (Terry), Debra (Stan), Bob (Ann), Courtney (Maureen), Toni (John), Joan (Don), and Randy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and her best friend Elma Neufeld. Many thanks to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their kindness and care of Wilma.
A service and Celebration of Life for Wilma will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 22, 2025 at River East Church, 755 McLeod Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba or to a charity of your choice.
