It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Albert Steadwell on November 6, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born on October 17, 1937, in Fort William, Ontario, William was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Doris (Gregoire) Steadwell; his parents, Fernie and Nova Steadwell (née Alexander); and his sister, Lois Davis.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Warren Steadwell, Jason Steadwell, and Rae-Lynn Steadwell; and his cherished grandchildren, Ashleigh Barry, Petra Steadwell, and Scott Steadwell. William also leaves behind his sister Joan and his niece, Maggie Cates Aalto, along with extended family and dear friends.
William’s life was marked by deep devotion to family, a spirit of adventure, and a lifelong curiosity that touched all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
