With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Edna Jean McAninch on October 21, 2025, in Guelph, ON. Born July 11, 1945, on McKenzie Island, ON, Flo was known for her kindness, humour, and generosity.
Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Annie “Ivy” Tonsaker, in-laws Dr. Norman and Mae McAninch, and beloved son Sean. Lovingly remembered by her husband Norman “Murray” McAninch; children Susan, Lisa (Alan), and Michael (Sari); sister Dolores Hessner (Henry); sister-in-law Caron Chilton; brother-in-law Bryan; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Flo’s compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support created a loving home for all. In keeping with her wishes, no service will be held.
Donations in her memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation, or War Amps Canada.
May Flo rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing
