It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carrol Margaret Bell of Winnipeg on November 10, 2025 at the age of 81.
She was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Dennis James Bell; parents, Jack and Evelyn Burgess; and parents-in-law, John and Kathleen Bell.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Russ Bell (Heather); grandchildren, Jeff Bell (Yara) and Stephanie Hatch (Justin); and three great-grandchildren; as well as her sister Diane Fortier (Russ); sister-in-law Dolly Bell (John); and numerous nieces and nephews.
For most of her working years Carrol was a medical receptionist for various doctors. This was work that she truly enjoyed. Carrol also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included crafting, gardening, playing bingo, bowling, and most of all trying her luck at the casinos.
We would like to thank the excellent staff at Maples Personal Care Home as well as at Concordia Place where she was provided with outstanding care.
As per Carrol’s wishes, no formal service will take place. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carrol’s name to a favourite charity of choice.
