BRIAN KEHLER


Brian Kehler, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on November 20, 2025 at the age of 78.

He will be deeply missed by Iris, his devoted wife of over 57 years. Together they were blessed with four beautiful daughters and two wonderful sons-in-law: Carla (Amin), Laura (Lauren), Shawna, Brittany and a cherished granddaughter Rowan. He will be greatly missed by his large immediate and extended family members.

Brian was a hardworking man with many talents. Of every job he worked, his favorite position was as Building Manager at Gateway Community Centre, until his retirement in 2008.

He loved travelling and took joy in music and creativity, especially through woodworking, playing guitar and singing. He loved to bring friends and family together for karaoke nights.

Brian was kind and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. He will be dearly missed by all on whom he surely left a lasting impression.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at St. Mary’s Cathedral,353 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Interment will immediately follow with a reception to be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB.
