Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT DOUGLAS RIELLY
Robert (Bob) Rielly passed away December 11, 2025 at HSC. By his side was his loving partner of 45 years, Kathy Hannah, mother Frances Mills, and son and daughter-in-law Joe and Karla Waatainen. He is survived by his partner Kathy Hannah, mother Frances Mills, son Joseph Waatainen and wife Karla, son Robbie Waatainen and wife Cindy, nieces Tina and Shawn, and several grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father Doug Rielly, brother Randy Rielly and stepfather Ken Mills.
Bob lived his life in Tyndall, Manitoba. He worked in the construction industry as a crane operator. His career started at Crane All where he worked on small cranes and little jobs. While employed at Able Crane, he ran a 75- ton all terrain crane which he was very proud of. Bob ended his career at Calado Crane Rentals with his dear friend Darrel Champagne. Bob swung a lot of the steel that built many of the prominent structures that we all see and use everyday here in Winnipeg and Manitoba.
Bob had a talent for fixing and building. His shop in Tyndall was fully outfitted. There are endless memories spent in the shop working on different projects. Friends and family always knew Bob could fix it or figure out how to fix it.
Bob had a love for animals and took a lot of pleasure driving around the neighborhood on his electric scooter passing out treats to dogs. They knew who he was by the sound of his scooter coming down the gravel road. He had such a grin talking about how they would be so happy to see him, sticking their noses through the fence, wagging their tails and waiting to get their cookie.
In Memory of Robert (Bob) Rielly, donations can be made to the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
