Doreen Smith died December 29, 2025, at the Boissevain Hospital, Boissevain, Manitoba, at the age of 90 years old. Lovingly remembered by her sons Art (Laurie), Doug (Valerie) and Steve (Jackie), grandchildren Stephanie, Alyssa (Will), Luna, Cassie, Brennan (Liv), Stefanie (Dillon) and Jordan (Robyn), great-grandsons Asher and Kole and special sister-in-law Edith. Doreen is predeceased by her husband Frank and her brother Walter.
A Memorial Service for Doreen will be held on January 3, 2026, at the
St. Paul’s United Church in Boissevain, Manitoba at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at Cherry Creek Place.
