Edna Procter
Edna May Procter passed away peacefully at Rideau Park Personal Care Home on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the age of 97.
Edna was a friendly, kind generous and fun-loving upbeat person who always had a kind word for anyone she spoke with. Born on the family farm near Hillston Saskatchewan, Edna went to a country school until grade 8. After a year of school in Broadview, Edna moved to Brandon where she worked cleaning houses until getting hired on at the Assiniboine Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She would continue working in the healthcare field until her retirement, touching countless patients with her dedicated and compassionate care. One of Edna’s biggest passions was music, joyfully singing with the Ladies’ Barbershop Chorus, and later Women in Harmony.
A Funeral service will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

Donations in Edna’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
