Jim Brown of Wawanesa, MB passed away at the Wawanesa Health Centre on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the age of 74 years.
Jim leaves to mourn his beloved wife Mavis (nee Martin) of Wawanesa, MB, sons Dustin (Kristen) of Wawanesa, MB and Kelly (Kaitlyn) of Windermere, BC, six grandsons Rylan, Jesse, Nate, Luca, Oliver and Anthony, sister-in-law Denise Brown of Wawanesa, MB and uncle Harvey (Betty) Sorensen of Killarney, MB, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Raymer and Irene (nee Sorensen) Brown, brother Glenn Brown, mother-in-law Eva Eastley, fathers-in-law Orville Martin and Bill Eastley, and brother-in-law Ivan Martin.
To honour Jim’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Tip a pint and do a small kindness when you think of him.
If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to the Wawanesa Personal Care Home Activities Department c/o Prairie Mountain Health Authority, Box 309 Wawanesa, MB R0K 2G0.
