John (Jack) Lewis-Smith of Birtle, MB passed away at the Russell Health Centre, Russell, MB on December 19, 2025 at the age of 91 years.
A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held at a later date.

I’m sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. I attended classes at his Saturday art classes in the Exchange in the ‘60’s and had the good fortune to have him as a drawing instructor again in Ad Art at Red River College. He bought my first oil paints and brushes for my parents to give me for my 13th birthday. He holds a special place in my memories. Rest in peace, Jack.
