Mrs. Lois Evans of Brandon, Manitoba passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 at the young age of 90 years. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, “her kids”.
Lois grew up on the prairies in Manitoba, where she always gave her brothers and sisters a run for their money. Lois was full of life and rarely could be found without a smile on her face. She was very strong willed and was never afraid to speak her mind.
She was predeceased in 2012 by her loving husband of 57 years Danny Evans. She was also predeceased by her parents Alma and Burt Ramsey, her two sisters Maxine and Lucielle, as well as her three brothers Melford, Don and Lyle.
Lois and Danny had many adventures together traveling and living around the world eventually settling in Brandon. She often talked of Germany and Jamaica as being two of the places she enjoyed the most. Lois and Danny gave homes to many well-loved dogs, there was rarely a time they did not have a dog or two in their home.
Lois will be missed by all her nieces and nephews. She was that wonderful aunt that spoiled all the kids. At Lois' very clear request no service will be planned but the family would like loved ones to do something to remember her and take a moment to cherish why she was so special to you. Have a teen burger or some maple walnut ice cream with a glass of coke. She would approve.
