SHIRLEY JEAN GUEST

Sadly, we announce the passing of Shirley Guest on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. Shirley, aged 93, was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Morton Frank Guest II; her daughter Susan Chestley; and son-in-law Don Chestley.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bud Guest (Karen); grand-daughters, Laurelle Hammerback (Stef), Kerri Guest (Joe), Jaclyn Miles (Jordon), and Hayley Chestley (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Sarah, Caleb, and Eric Hammerback; and extended family and friends.

Shirley enjoyed a long and full life making wonderful memories. She was a devoted wife, mother and grannie who loved hosting family gatherings and spending summers at the cabin at Grand Beach.

The family extends a warm thank you to the staff and residents of Kildonan House, the Palliative Care Manitoba nurses and the staff at Riverview.

A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
